Putting your gear away for the season? Storage wax will keep your base clean, hydrated, and protected during off season storage. In the spring, we hot scrap and apply storage wax to the base of the equipment. In the fall, get a hot wax for a great glide.

Storage rooms, garages and basements are typical places where skis are stored over the summer. They also typically contain a lot of dust that will end up on the base of your skis. This will in turn produce a dry base, which will be harder to glide on next season. For that reason, we recommend placing a protective wax layer on the base.

We begin by using a gummy stone to give the edges a basic clean. Then the equipment gets a wipe down before we clean out the surface pores of the base by applying a soft wax and scraping it off while it is still warm.

Finally we apply a storage wax to protect the base of the skis all summer long.
